Comparison between JobsDB and JobStreet.

Based on the research we made we were able to identify the preferences of applicant on the sites they would like to apply to. The result shows that there are more than one application site which is prefered by applicants.

However, JobStreet.com tops the chart. From the information we gathered, applicants are more reliant on JobStreet because the range of job coverage is wider in sense of its field as well as its location. Though this site is preferred by many applicants, the possibility of getting a job through this site is lesser. This is so because the wide pool of applicants post a great competition to all those that apply through it. This is one of the reasons why some prefer other sites to apply in. one disadvantage found when applicants apply in this site is that, they get jobs unrelated to their interest or qualification which results in dissatisfaction among some applicants.


As said before, despite having more applicant who prefer JobStreet, applicant in JobsDB have higher chances of landing in a job and this is gradually increasing the preference of applicant to apply at this site. The jobs offered do not include all field however it is more useful to those who would like to obtain the job they desire. The specification of need of applicants is more detailed thus only those who qualify may have the job they desire.
